Who we are

In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), these are the details of the owner of this website. The site is published from Spain and is governed by Spanish law.

Purpose of this site

elsdelai.com is the website of the Catalan rumba band Els Delai. It introduces the band, its history and its music, and provides the information promoters and organisers need in order to book a concert. It is not an online shop: no payments are taken and no bookings are concluded here.

Your data

This site stores none of your data on any server of ours. The booking form sends nothing: it prepares a message from what you have typed and opens your WhatsApp app or your email program so that you can send it yourself, if you want to. Until you send it, that information never leaves your device.

When you write to us, we process your data as follows:

• What we process: the name, organisation, email, phone number and the content of the message you send us.
• Why: solely to reply to you and, where applicable, to arrange a concert.
• On what basis: because you ask us to by getting in touch (pre-contractual steps at the request of the data subject).
• For how long: for as long as the exchange lasts and, if a booking is made, for the period required by tax and accounting obligations.
• Who we share it with: no one, unless legally required. If you write via WhatsApp, the message passes through WhatsApp's servers, under its own terms.

You may at any time ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, to object to or restrict its processing, or to request its portability, by writing to elsdelai@gmail.com. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

Cookies and audience measurement

This site uses no cookies. That is why you will not find a banner asking you to accept them.

To find out how many visits the site receives we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a measurement tool that sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and creates no identifier that could track you from one site to another. It collects aggregate data only: pages viewed, approximate country, device type, where the visit came from and page load speed.

Hosting

The site is hosted on the network of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which also acts as our security and audience-measurement provider. Like any web server, it technically logs the requests it receives.

Content and rights

The name Els Delai, the logo, the texts, the photographs and the songs on this site belong to their authors and are protected. You may link to them, quote extracts and share them with attribution; for any other use — reproducing, modifying or using them commercially — please write to us first.

The concert posters shown in the "Where we've played" section are the work of the organisers of each festival or village festival and appear here as a record of the band's history. If you hold the rights to one and would rather we took it down, write to us and we will.

Song lyrics are published for information and promotion. The author of each track is credited next to the title where it is not the band.

Links to other sites

From here we link to YouTube, Spotify, Bandcamp, Instagram, Facebook and the merchandise shop. When you follow those links you leave this site and become subject to the terms and privacy policies of those services, for which we cannot be held responsible.

Governing law

This notice is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts of the owner's domicile, unless the law imperatively provides otherwise. Consumers resident in the European Union retain the benefit of the mandatory provisions of their country of residence.
